Italy's Inglass Group is adding more production in North America for its hot runner system supplier.
An Italian tooling component supplier is set to open a new production plant in Grand Rapids, Mich. The HRS Flow Division of San Polo di Piace-headquartered Inglass Group SpA will open a new production plant in Grand Rapids, Mich., the company has announced. The plant, which will manufacture hot runner systems for the American market, is slated to open in the first half of 2015.
“Grand Rapids in particular was chosen due its strategic position for the plastic injection market,” Maurizio Bazzo, president of INglass group, said in a statement.
The division currently operates an HRS facility in Greenville, S.C., and has one facility each in Canada and Mexico, according to its website. |
